JQuery Plugin
I have been curious about the power of JQuery, and Javascript, so I dedicated some time into exploring this feature of web development. While this slideshow is not the best I can achieve with my new found knowledge. It is how and where I started to learn about JQuery. In addition, this slideshow allows me to share what I have learned with a beginner to this side of web development. My advice is that, once you get started... there will be no stopping you.
IRIS Online
The Institute for Research and International Studies (IRIS) is an international network of researchers, policy makers, cultural and community organizations, academic institutions, government agencies, philanthropies and independent social activists who share common interest in advancing social change through culturally responsive education. IRIS uses basic and applied research, advocacy, and training to explore innovative ideas that offer long-lasting solutions to enduring and emergent social issues of our time. This semester has been dedicated to developing a professional website (outside of class) for this organization.
